Huawei has acquired a new face recognition system from the Russians

He signed a co-operation agreement on the development of next-generation communications networks and 5G pilot programs in Moscow on Wednesday by the Russian MTSZ mobile operator and China’s Huawei telecommunications giant.

The significance of the deal is that the agreement was signed in the presence of Xi Chin Ping, President of Moscow, and his host, Vladimir Putin.

Under the agreement, the Russian company network will use the 5G and “Internet of Things” (IoT) technologies developed by Huawei. In addition, the Russian provider’s commercial LTE network is being upgraded to 5G ready with Huawei.
