Sony has unveiled the Xperia 5 at the IFA Berlin to reach even more customers with the latest addition to the 21: 9 series launched this year. Mitsuya Kihida, chairman of Sony Mobile Communications, at least that’s what made the phone ring, but it’s unlikely to hint at the expected price, as this phone also features one of this year’s best processors, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, behind the 6.1-inch OLED display.
Sony’s other high-end extras are also missing. It has three 12-megapixel rear-facing cameras, a wide-angle 16mm, a 52mm telephoto, a 26mm and a 26mm.

It also detects when your finger or other distracting object is hanging in front of the lens and filters out blinking. And Eye AF autofocus is a great way to follow and focus on the subjects in our shot.
They also addressed some of the flaws found in Xperia 1, such as those allegedly resolved in the Cinema Pro camera software used for 21: 9 aspect ratio video recording to allow multiple settings for a movie project.
