German citizens of Bosnian origin have been arrested by the deployment of anti-terrorist police units. On Wednesday morning raids were held in seven apartments in the Ruhr town.
Captured people are between 19 and 58 years old, probably related to each other. They are suspected of collecting and forwarding money to the IRA.
The Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR) Regional Public Service Media Company reports that it is not yet known what amount of money was collected and most recently when money was sent to the jihadist organization.
