A bridge over South China’s Guangdong Province at dawn early Friday, local authorities are looking for two people, said Xinhua Chinese State News Agency.
Located in the city of Hoi An, a 120-meter section of the bridge over the Tungcsiang River has fallen into the water for an unknown reason. As a result of the accident, two vehicles fell into the river. One of the leaders, a 44-year-old taxi driver, was able to rescue the nearby security guards, the rescue authorities were looking for two more missing.
11 rescue boats were sent to the scene to investigate the causes of the accident alongside the search for the missing ones.
The city of Hoi An is located in a part of Kuangtung, which was hit by heavy floods last week due to heavy rainfall due to monsoon.
