Those who walk in a bathing suit in the center of Montenegro’s Budva can expect a severe fine, because the city administration has satisfied the behavior of tourists with incomplete clothing.
The measure is not unique, and some years ago, in Croatia, Dubrovnik could be fined for bathing in the city center.
The city of Montenegro is expected to warn the offenders this year, but they can also start punishing next year. According to public service television, half-naked men are expected to pay € 500 ($ 163,000), and women in a swimsuit will be charged € 600 ($ 196,000).
They are also punished for those who eat or drink in the old town, and can also enjoy their delicacies up to 700 euros (228 thousand forints).
