Sir Paul McCartney appeared at the Dodgers Stadium in Los Angeles this weekend, and to the surprise of the crowd, he was once a musician, Ringo Starr, behind the drums.
According to Variety, the two musicians last played together for the last time on August 28, 1966 at this location. The two Beatles still live two hits, the 1967 Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, and the 1968 Helter Skelter.
Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr have worked together several times over the last few decades, most recently on stage in 2014 for a CBS show and McCartney in 2017 in Starr’s Give More Love.
